How it works

A simple model ofyour two stop levels.

Every GFN evaluation has two limits: a total account stop and a daily one. Here's how they're calculated.

Max drawdown is calculated here as a flat percentage of your starting balance - the simplest, non-trailing version of the rule. GFN's actual 1 Step drawdown trails your equity up to 8% profit, then locks and stops trailing entirely, which this calculator does not model.

Daily loss limit is recalculated every day from whichever is greater: your starting balance or your current equity - the same rule GFN uses, recalculated at 5pm EST.

For the full, exact rules behind GFN's trailing drawdown see the FAQ.
