The programme funds a trader, not an account number. If the trades are someone else's the evaluation proves nothing, and the payout is going to a person who did not do the trading. Identity checks exist to make that concrete rather than assumed.
Conduct
Account sharing:one person, one account.
No. Each account belongs to one named person, who trades it. Sharing login details is prohibited in itself, separately from what is then traded, and you remain responsible for everything done on the account. Selling or transferring an account, or trading one in another person's name, is also prohibited.
The rule
Can someone else trade my account?
Percentages are what the industry publishes. These are the same rules in dollars, worked on a $100,000 simulated account, so there is nothing left to convert.
- Someone else trading it
- Prohibited
- Sharing login details
- Prohibited
The act itself, regardless of outcome.
- Responsibility after sharing
- Still yours
Trades placed by someone you gave access to are your trades.
- Selling or transferring an account
- Prohibited
- Identity, account and payout
- Must match
Checked at verification and again before a payout.
- GFN asking for your password
- Never
Support will not ask for it. Treat any request as a red flag.
Plan applicability
Which programmesthis rule applies to
Our three programmes do not share one rulebook. This table is the part of the page to read before you buy.
Why it exists
The reasoning,stated plainly
Worked example
The same rule,as a number
A $100,000 simulated account, because that is the size most people are deciding about.
Three situations
All three are the same rule.
- A friend trades it while you travel
- Prohibited
And you carry the result.
- An account in a partner's name
- Prohibited
The trader and the named owner must be the same person.
- Selling a passed account
- Prohibited
Accounts are not transferable.
If your login has been exposed, contact support and change it. That is a security incident to report, not a rule breach to hide.
Commonly misread
What tradersget wrong here
Every item below has cost somebody an account. They are published for that reason rather than for completeness.
“It is only a problem if they lose money”
Sharing access is prohibited whatever the outcome, and a profitable result can still invalidate a payout.
“A family member counts as me”
It does not. One named individual holds the account, the verification and the payout details.
The full cluster
Every questionabout this rule
The answers our support team works from, each on its own page.
Should I share my GFN login details with anybody?
No. Keep your customer dashboard, trading account and payout credentials secure.
Can someone else manage my account for me?
No. Your account is issued to you and should be traded by you.
Am I responsible for trades placed after sharing my login?
Sharing account credentials is prohibited and can compromise your ability to dispute unauthorised activity.
Can I sell access to my GFN account?
No. GFN accounts are personal to the registered trader and may not be sold, transferred or rented to another person.
Can I use someone else's identity?
No. The person who purchases, verifies and trades the account must be the legitimate account holder.
